    I hope to learn more about different ways to use technology in this class. Although being a teacher is not the top choice on my career aspirations, it is still there, so more experience in educational tech will be very useful if I end up going down that route. Even if I don't go down that route, learning education tech will certainly help me in my own learning by already being familiar with different programs professors could potentially use in later classes. Learning about formats like blogs and canva will help me a lot while working towards an English degree. 

    

    I do not have experience in educational tech other than being a student myself and using it to organize my school work and complete assignments. I do, however, have a lot of experience with this type of tech to build my own writing career. I already have a website where I have a blog and where I sell my published novel. I also have used canva to design my own book covers. 

    As I said before, I have used some of the tech we are looking at in this class before. Canva is a great and easy tool to use when designing anything, might it be signs, book covers, postcards, or even resumes. Blogs and websites are essential for self-published authors to spread and market their work, which is what I use mine for. I also use my website to tease upcoming novels, show artwork from my published novel, and make it easy for anyone to purchase my novel.
